Pool Update - November 5, 2024
This past July, we announced that extensive repairs to the pool liner, covered under our warranty, would be taking place. We’re pleased to share that RenoSys has honored their commitment and is now replacing the entire pool liner as part of this project.
The liner replacement is currently in progress, and you’ll notice work being done at the pool site. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these important improvements. Please pardon any inconvenience as we complete this upgrade over the coming weeks.

Tremont Pool Policy 2024:
- The pool will not open if the temperature does not reach 72 degrees at the time of opening.
- The pool will not open during inclement weather.
- The pool will close due to electrical storms.
- The pool will close due to low attendance.
- Any child in diapers is required to wear a swim diaper in the pool.
- Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a person 16 years or older.
- Only Coast Guard-approved life jackets are allowed in the pool.

TOT TIME
The zero depth "Splash" wading pool will be open for a morning Tot Time. The program is open to children 0-5 years of age accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

AQUA FITNESS
This class will provide a challenge at any age for a total body workout conducted in the shallow end of the pool which includes a 5 minute warm-up, 40 minutes of total body workout and 5 minutes of cool down.
Monday- Thursday at 11:30am

LAP SWIMMING

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
Private swim lessons are designed for children who do better alone, with one-on-one instruction. Private swim lessons are arranged per session and can be one student with one instructor or two students with one instructor. Sessions are 30 min. in length.

- Adjusting to water environment
-Showing comfort in front and back float (parent holding on)
-Blowing bubbles and submerging face and head in water
-Jumping in from the steps of the 3 foot
Level 1: Water Exploration
*Requirements: Stand in 3 foot, listen to instructor without parent, potty trained
· Fully submerge face in water
· Hold breath underwater
· Front and back float with support
·Kicking on front and back with support
·Enter and exit the water independently
Level II: Primary Skills
*Requirements: Pass Level 1 or be able to do all skills in level 1)
· Float and kick on front and back for 5 seconds & recover
· Swim on front 5 yards without assistance & then recover
· Swim on back 5 yards without assistance & then recover
- Jumping and streamline bobs with air exchange
· Retrieve objects underwater chest deep
Level III: Stroke Readiness
*Requirements: Pass Level 2 or be able to do all skills in level 2)
· Front and back glide & kick at least 5 yards
- Freestyle for 10 yards (½ of 3ft)
- Backstroke for 10 yards (½ of 3ft.)
- Jump into deep water and swim back to side
- Tread water for at least 15 second with correct arms & scissor or breaststroke kick
- Introduce butterfly & breaststroke arms & kick
Level IV: Stroke Development
*Requirements: Pass Level 3 or swim at least 10 yards of free & back
- Freestyle with side breathing for 25 yards
· Backstroke for 25 yards
· Butterfly kick and arms
- Breaststroke kick and arms
- Introduce somersault and open turns
- Tread water for at least 1 min with correct arms & kick
- Rocket Dive, Kneeling Dive, Standing Dive
Level V: Refer to Tremont Torpedoes Swim Team or private lessons
